Dutch Oven Cobbler

  • 2 quarts of fresh fruit of your choice (or canned fruit/filling)
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 box Jiffy Yellow Cake mix
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
  • 1 cup nuts (optional, should be chopped)
Spread the berries in a greased dutch oven pan. Mix the lemomn juice, salt and sugar together. Pour over the berries. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the top and dot with the butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins.
